Tired

Have you ever been so tired that you couldn't think straight? ...tired in your mind, body, and spirit? The thoughts of your things to do list weakens you as you press your way through each day. Your heart is heavy from the weight of the world. The demands of others for your time and talents tug at your heart as you desire to please. But the pressure is just too much, it literally brings you to your knees.

Tired, tested, and tried...while challenging, these moments brings us closer to The Source of our supply. The One who is able to exceed our expectations and give us strength to continue. Call on Him...trust in Him. He can, He will strengthen your heart.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart. Psalm 27:14

Tired? I know this emotion very well. Tired has taught me that it is self inflicting and addicting. As women, we continue to add to dos to our list KNOWING we're already tired. We're addicted to busyness! Auuuugh!

I've decided to watch the Christmas season this year and take a much needed break. No baking (except for family),no decorations, no tree, no shopping, no stress, no SELF INFLICTED tiredness.

Excellent post and great reminder of God's power to restore.

Yes, LaVender we're addicted to being busy.  You would think we would be tired of being tired...right?  This self inflicted pain and discomfort causes unnecessary stress and can ultimately hinder our progress in Kingdom building.  If we are unhealthy (tired), we cannot be effective.

...enjoy the view as you take a break  and watch this holiday season...I will continue to PUSH...
