Hold On!   Wait!  Some other time!    Maybe later!  I'll have to reschedule.  These are familiar excuses or explanations commonly used when our priorities shift.  Whatever we determine to be the greater need, takes precedence over our existing schedules and we adjust everything else accordingly.  How many divine appointments have you missed, canceled, or rescheduled?  It is amazing how easily we place God on hold and give our attention to something or someone other than Him.  But what if God placed us on hold or failed to show up in our lives?  In His absence, prime opportunities and countless blessings would be missed.  Imagine a life of lack and despair without His ever abiding presence.  God's presence is a necessity for living and He is deserving of our respect, our focus, our praise as we make a conscious effort to make Him our priority. 

God has a plan and a path designed specifically for each of us with multiple divine appointments along the way.  Each appointment bring us closer to Him and fuels our passion as we live His will for our lives.  In order to get what God has intended for us, we must show up on time, every time...ready to receive what He has in store.  God's Word is filled with promises that benefit those of us who have a covenant  relationship with Him,  He will deliver everything He promised.  Will you show up to get what's yours?
